RESERVATIONS
Pikes Peak Space in the main cabin, upper cabin, lean-to shelters, and Tent sites require a request form.  Check in times are usually flexible, but it is ideal if you arrive before 6:00 p.m., and have one of your party advise us by 4 p.m. if you are planning to have meals with us. Check-out times are by noon on the day you are leaving. See meals for information on meal reservations.

If you are inquiring about the "A-Frame" structure at timberline, it is not located at or managed by Barr Camp, and has nothing to do with the lean-to's at camp.

Please give us as much notice as possible for reservations. Since we are a remote cabin, last minute calls and reservations are not always caught. We want to make sure you have a roof over your head when you arrive. For the peak summer season (June through September), hikers begin reserving space many months ahead.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
There have been too many cases of people not showing up for their reservations or meals that either leave us with too much fresh bread or empty bunks which someone else might have enjoyed. Payment in full by credit card is required to confirm reservations.
Cancellations:
There is a cancellation fee of 20% of the reservation amount or $10, whichever is greater. If the reservation amount is less than $10, then the fee is the entire amount. After deducting the cancellation fee, the remainder is credited or forfeited according to the following table:

If your plans change, please contact us as soon as possible so we may open up the space for others and not cook for no-show guests. The amount paid for a cancelled reservation less cancellation fee and credit may be taken as a tax deductible contribution to Barr Camp, Inc., a 501(3)(c)organization.

MAKING A RESERVATION
Please have the following information ready for your reservation:
  • Contact persons Name. * (usually the leader of the group)
  • Name of the Party. * (usually the last name of the leader or organizer)
  • Number of people in your party.
  • Dates of the nights that you will be staying over.
  • Which location you prefer to stay.
  • Email where you can be reached.

Make your reservation request here at this web site and submit the form to us. We will respond with availability by email and hold your request for 24 hours. Your reservation will be confirmed when you pay using the emailed invoice number and amount. Sorry, we can't take phone reservations.
