Caretakers
Since 1979, Barr Camp has had full time caretakers.
Teresa and Neal Taylor are your current caretakers. We have been at the camp since the spring of 2005. We love the camp and all of the challenges that come with it. We enjoy all the wonderful people who arrive at the camp and the stories they share with us. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to share in your Pikes Peak experience!

Pike's Peak Cog Railway Support
Without the kind support from the Pike's Peak Cog Railway, Barr Camp would not be operating in our present capacity. The Cog has a long history of supporting Barr Camp in a variety of ways, and we truly appreciate their efforts.
USDA National Forest Service
Barr Camp is located on your National Forest public land. We operate under authority and permit from the Forest Service. The Pikes Peak Ranger District has an office in Colorado Springs and rangers are available with information and maps.
